Pretty Good for Richmond

Been here few times over the years - some changes to interior but basically same club. Located in industrial park just off Midlothian - easy to find. Most recent visit was late on a Saturday - by midnight otherwise decent crowd had thinned out considerably. About 15 dancers ranging from 2's to 8's on my "stripper-scale" - no real knockouts but only a couple of ladies who really should not be dancing without clothes. Most with too many tattoos for my taste, but that's today's style, unfortunately. As many have said before, VA is not a great place for these types of clubs, some my comments are limited to comparisons to other clubs in VA to be fair. Crowd that night was mostly working class good ol' boys but not thuggish or rowdy - just there for a few drinks and a decent time. Interior of club a bit worn and tired looking but otherwise fairly clean and decently kept. Waitresses not too aggressive pushing shooters (cheap wine-shooter based concoctions), which is something I really hate in any club. PP allows smoking, which is a plus in my book as a smoker as more and more places are going smoke-free either by law or management decision (to me, a strip joint just ain't a strip joint without a haze of tobacco smoke hanging in the air).

As far as the ladies and the dances are concerned, PP has a graduated dance price scale starting at $20 with all clothes on and no contact (why bother) up to $450 for an hour in VIP (at least that was what was posted). Your 'basic' contact lapdance will run you $100 for a single song and most of the music runs about 5 minutes per song, sometimes longer.. 2-for-1 dances are cycled about every hour or so. in the private dance area, and hand contact above the waist is permissible but will depend on the dancer and what mood she might be in. The private lap dance area is located in a separate adjoining room to the main stage area and is reasonably private with no bouncer eyeing everything going on. The stage routines on the main floor are pretty standard, and contact there is limited to G-string tip-stuffing (usually dollar bills, with a few $5's, $10's and, rarely, $20's from guys usually having had a few too many beers planning to wake up hungover, broke and wondering why). The ladies are a mix of local girls and a few college girls working their way through school (or so they say). The night I went the dancer line-up was mostly white, with perhaps two black girls and maybe one Hispanic in the mix. A few too many A- and B-cups for my taste (but I am not really into petite women), but no really fat gals either, thankfully (at least not that night).. One trick I have learned with clubs like this is if you come slightly over-dressed (dress pants or pressed khakis, collared shirt and blazer) compared to the rest of the customers you will get slightly more attention from the better-looking dancers - works for me at least. On the whole, PP is worth at least a first- and second-visit to decide whether it is for your taste - it's middle-of-the-road as far as Richmond clubs are concerned and maybe slightly better than most of the rest of the joints in VA (again, limiting my comparisons to just VA clubs). On my personal strip-club-o-meter for VA clubs, it's a 6 or 7 out of 10 (although I could not give any VA club a "full-boner-from-the-time-you-walked-in-the-door" score of 10). In short, worth a visit at least once then decide.
