Sinsaysionals has changed...and not necessarily for the better

Sinsaysionals is still a strange place. I was there once in Feb. and then again last Saturday. There’s a new sheriff in town at Sins. It starts when you walk in the door. They now scan your ID which I’m not a fan of. This seems like a recipe for ID theft. Also there is now a $2 charge for “Ins/Outs” to go back to your car. Other recent changes are no more seated lap dances in the main area. For that you now have to go to VIP. Everything in the main area is now wall dances. The wall dances are $10/song. They can now no longer market themselves as “The home of the $5 lap dance”. That was a bit of a disappointment. Apparently new management took over. It is also now not a strictly AA club. There are Latina dancers in the mix. As a result the music has changed to go along with this addition. I personally am not a fan of Bachata or whatever it was. But the Latino custies probably were Ok with it. This is a non-alcohol club. So you don’t face the prospect of buying overpriced drinks for the ladies. You can also bring in water or soda from the outside if it’s in a plastic bottle. They sell water and sodas too.

It still is a bit of a struggle to find the place even though I’ve been there before. If you are coming from the Beltway you need to stay to the right and follow the signs to Route 564 (Lanham-Severn Road). I messed up and ended up on Route 450. Time to get a new GPS…lol. It’s probably about 3 miles from the Beltway. The parking is primarily in an adjacent carwash. I don’t know what happens if that fills up. I guess you could park in the residential area across Route 564. There are no signs, so you look for the car wash and turn there. The club is at the far right end of a strip of car repair facilities.

The cover is $20. They open at 9. I couldn’t tell if the $10 cover before 9:30 still applied. Not much goes on at the beginning of the evening. The customers and dancers trickle in slowly at first. As with my previous visits the dancers outnumber the customers at least until around 11(although many of the dancers are in the back changing). In the earlier part of the evening you are just sitting there waiting for something to happen. The stage goes largely unused. I feel like the cover should be reduced until 10:30 or 11 since there are so few dancers actually doing anything other than checking their phones.
