Not for me

I visited to complete the Rhode Island circuit -- I've now seen them all. Perhaps I'll put together an article about that. There is certainly a place for this type of establishment but it is just not my scene.

There is a five dollar cover charge. Upon entrance you see that it is more or less one large room. The dance booths with the thin curtains are to the left against the wall. The bar is a rectangle pretty close up against the back wall. There are tables, like the kind you'd see in a cafeteria, to the right where the restroom is located. The bar is quite deep for the obvious reason that this is where the women dance. The bartender is friendly and the Bud Light is cold. There were two dancers on when I arrived, making the circuit around the bar, seated with 3-4 men, one with the company of a third dancer. They spend a bit of time with each customer as they go around and it is right and proper that you tip at least one or two dollars per visit. The reviews I had read were accurate - this one or two dollars does generally elicit a pushing aside of panties and/or some rubbing. And the dancers are quite nice and discussed the benefits of buying tokens and getting a classic "mickeys sticky", or was it a "sticky mickey "? I'm not really sure. And I did not take her up on it.

The issue is that the women are older. They have seen things. I'd like to say that that's totally fine and like I said above there is a place for it, but I'm a younger guy and can find younger, more attractive dancers at various other establishments. If I was into extras I suspect my opinion would be different. And I have read that they do occasionally have some younger talent there. I just didn't see it. The chances I will pop in again are low unless I know that the dancer profile has changed a little. But I'm glad to have the complete picture.
