Good Lord - returned to DE...

Good Lord - returned to DE from a few years gone and though some things have changed - the Fairways remains the same. Checked in after work w/ a buddy and were reassured that the early '90's is still alive and well. After the first girl came off of the stage - she regaled us w/ the story of her sad life - Korean, married a guy who got stationed @ Dover AFB, he smacked her around, she's split up from him & has the kids, dancin' to provide $$ for the kids.... Ugh. I told my buddy - mentioning the homely woman tending bar - "At least she's not up there" and sure enough 2 girls later - up onto the stage she went!! Wow!! CHeap beers though - and they're as REAL as women come - no great lookers - like going to a grocery store & picking 5 women at random between 20 & 38 yo to dance to 80's hair music in a little rough & tumble Central DE titty bar. Surreal but somehow comforting. It's good to be back. I heard there's a new place up in Wilm. (Hack's or something like that) to go to but I don't get up there very often. Stopping in here is worth it if you find yourself coming down the hwy. - good experience and you'll feel better about your life - don't make a special trip!
