Carousel re-opened after major renovation

Well, the nastiest club in Huntington is now open under the same name, but with a very expensive facelift. You would not know you are in the same club with extensive renovations throughout the bar. Bathrooms totally rebuilt with new fixtures. A small, but very cool lighted bar is alongside one wall. A huge TV is hung on an adjacent wall with a new leather sofa facing it to watch the big games. Yes I actually wrote 'new leather sofa' inside the Carousel. Large center stage with a nice pole that at least one girl knew how to use. Still a jukebox that plays the songs, but a very nice space with several new tables next to the stage.

Even the girls are a little better than what used to sleep in the corners. But not a lot better yet - I still think most people think the club is closed. A few girls from JB's and Shoulder have made their way down, but still not a good selection. On my visit, one brunette spinner was the best the bar has seen in years but she was occupied with a boyfriend/regular about her age.

But there is bad news. And its the afterthought of a private dance room. All that money to redo the club, but someone forgot it was still in Huntington. There is one small room, almost like a hallway that has one lonely cheap chair sitting in the back behind a very shear curtain. It is not really even a curtain, more like a nuisance since every so-called private dance is not private. In fact, the entrance to this long skinny room is right next to where the doorman sits. The room looks more like an interrogation room with a bright light and one chair.
