On a downhill slide
It is with great sadness that I update my review of what for a couple of years was a great club. Ever since FI closed a few years ago (has it been that long?!) Midway became what'd I'd say was the consistently best experience in OKC. The club itself isn't anything special - it's a dive to say the least, but the surprising number of dancers, fair dancer quality (4-8 range), and high mileage made it a fan favorite - which it certainly deserved to be. That was then. This is now. On my nights out, it's no longer a must-go, and is just about one visit away from a don't-bother.
Recently, some various legal trouble (both criminal and civil) seemed to have taken its toll on this little gem. Firstly, as a couple of others have said, mileage has gone way down. (let's be honest - the mileage is what made this club what it was). Over the past few weeks I've learned from several dancers that business has slowed immensely and no one is happy with how things are now - customers have less fun, dancers makes less money - but due to the crackdown, the club has even gone so far as to instruct dancers to wear less revealing outfits (specifically bigger bottoms - you'll notice the change if you've been in before and go in now).
These changes seem to have driven off most of the best dancers at the club. Not only do there seem to be fewer per shift, quality is down too - I'd say in the 3-6 range is what you should expect now.
