A bit better

My last few visits to this club were less than stellar, and I'd started enjoying myself more at other nearby clubs, so I hadn't stopped in here in several months. It was a Sat afternoon around 6 or so when I stopped by. There was ample parking, I chose a non-premium spot a bit away from the door and was asked for $2 to park, as usual. The guy collecting the parking said thanks for the extra buck. Inside, the girl who collects the cover was posted up but she waived me by as it was before the 7pm starting time for collecting cover (which is $10 on Sat, when it applies.) As usual, it was pretty busy and there was only one table and a few spots at the bar that weren't occupied, although a few tables were used by groups of strippers rather than customers. I grabbed a table and sat down. It took a few minutes, probably 2-3 songs for me to get a waitress. After placing my order, she disappeared again and I had to flag her down 3-4 songs later to remind her I still didn't have a drink. I gave her a $20 and again she disappeared for a while before bringing my change. It probably wasn't that long, but as I had no change on my I wasn't able to tip on stage & by the time she came back I needed another beer. Now, 10 singles wasn't going to be enough, so I had to give her another 20 so I'd have more than a few singles. She started to walk off without giving me the change from the first $20, and I had to grab her so I wouldn't sit there another 15 minutes with no change to tip with. Not really that big of a deal, but it wasn't a great start.

As far as the girls go, I had some time to check out the talent and look around while I waited for my first beer & change. There were probably two dozen girls there, mostly latina but much better variety than in the past. A few even spoke passable english, not enough to hold a real conversation, but more than "hey papi, you want dance" which is a nice improvement. I also noticed a bit less of the excessively enhanced girls, there were plenty of fake titties and asses, but only a few were really bad ones. There were also at least 4 natural girls. There were some of the same girls, a few of which remembered me and came by to say hello. There were also a few new girls too. Overall, I'm back to being comfortable saying they had a good lineup of girls. When I first started coming here, the table dances were all nude and offered a decent contact. Over time, they became sometimes nude and then rarely nude. At the same time, contact generally went way up. Then, they over corrected and the table dances were topless almost air dances. This time, it looks like they've found a happy medium again. All the table dances I saw & bought were nude, with some moderate contact. The girls all made a push for the back, with the same wild prices to start. Three girls quoted me upwards of $300 for 3 songs, but they were all down to 150-125 when I laughed at them. I didn't accept any offers, but previous experience tells me they probably do what they promise. The DJ wasn't too bad, music was loud but tolerable, and there wasn't a lot of blabber from him. None of the berating customers trying to get them to tip like seems to be the trend at other nearby clubs. I didn't time any songs this trip but they didn't feel like they were being cut excessively short like on my last visit, but this was afternoon vs evening like last time.

Overall, I had a good time and I'll probably come back sooner rather than later. I'm still not a fan of the 3-song room thing, I'd prefer a 15-30 minute window, and I prefer english speaking stripers, but aside from that there's really nothign to bitch about here.
