I was in San Francisco again, and made a return visit to Condor. On arrival it was much as I remembered. It sits on a fairly busy corner on Broadway, with several other clubs within a stone's throw. They scanned my license on the way in. This time they wanted $10 for the cover charge. I don't know if they have any schedule for their cover charge, or it's just whatever they feel like charging at the moment. Soft drinks were $6.

The moment I sat down, a thick Indian dancer sat on my lap and started snuggling. She was cute, if a bit overweight, and called herself "India". She was a little pushy while trying not to appear that way. She made a point of saying, "let's just sit and relax a bit first" but only in the context of delaying the expected dance. We chatted for a while and then I took her up on a dance. This was a mistake. I wasn't super excited about the idea, but she'd spent some time with me and was affectionate in a way that made me think maybe the dance would be fun. It turned out she was drunker than I had thought, and her dance was pretty poor (and cut short). It wasn't a great start to the night.

Back at my chair, the stage show was pretty good. The dancers were attractive (all more so than India, as it turned out). There were a couple of really hot dancers. They returned to the company of a trio of suited men (who had showered them with dollars on stage), so there was no chance to get a dance from them. One of the suits was drunkenly hanging on a dancer. It didn't look fun for her, but it looked like she was getting paid.
