Kittens, Seattle -- Review of Saturday, March 4, 2017
I hadn't been to this club since it opened app. three years ago. I arrived at 10:00 p.m. and left at 11:15 p.m. Saturday night, March 4th. App. 20 dancers were on shift. Both stages were in use. Only about 12 customers were visible at first. That probably doubled by the time I left. That's still slow for a Saturday night after 10 p.m. The club was too dark to see who the dancers were, and the music too loud to effectively talk to any of them. The d.j.'s garbled voice made it very difficult to discern the names of the dancers, announced. So, the ambient "qualities" of the club that night made it challenging to seek out new talent, which is why I chose to go there. I wanted a different club for a change.
Upon arrival, I sat at the bench seating across from the ladies' room at first, which is also the furthest point from both stages. Then, due to the lack of adequate lighting, I moved next to the second stage where at least the overspill lighting from the stage made it possible to see the dancers that approached me. All the dancers that did visit with me were slim and/or petite, the opposite of my preferred type, so politely indulging their presence, was difficult.
I moved next to the second stage when I did because I thought the dancer on that stage might actually interest me, and she did--very much. I got dances with her later. Her name is "Rain," a tall (5'10" -- she told me), slightly thick and naturally busty (my type) Latina, with a mild Spanish accent. Agewise, she seemed early 20's. I don't even remember the names of any of the other dancers I might have heard announced.
