Going to the Shoe is like stepping into a time capsule. It's almost like you're in a strip club in the 1980s. There's a big, open bar area where people hang out and lots of chairs around the main stage. I've had a couple good private room dances in past visits but didn't go for one this time.

I found the dancers to all be friendly though. They're low hustle and will have a drink with regulars and just hang out. Probably not the top caliber of girls in WVa but you also don't need to empty your wallet to have a good time.
