Few options in the area, even fewer options in the club

I visited on a Monday around 4 in the afternoon. I hadn't been to Centerfolds since probably 2010 or 2011. Very little has changed, aesthetically, but I used to go mostly during the evening. I'm not sure if I had ever been there during the day before, but I doubt that I will return after my most recent experience. The club is near the intersection of routes 66 and 35, just off a traffic circle. It's a large bluish colored structure but it can still be easy to overshoot if you've never been there before. The parking lot is fairly rundown and offers relatively little privacy. There were maybe 2 other cars in the parking lot when I arrived; one for the guy at the door, one for the girl on stage. The door guy doubles as the DJ and presumably the manager, too. He took my $10 entrance fee and handed me a warm bottle of water. I noticed there was no bartender (not that it would matter much because nude clubs don't typically serve alcohol here in Jersey; I believe it's due to a statewide law, but it might be because the counties hold a very tight control over liquor licenses). I settled in and watched the lone dancer. Her name began with a 'C' (Chloe or Chelsea or something like that). The bar area is relatively small and the stage is the "main attraction," so to speak (which is how a strip club should be laid out, if you ask me). The stage is surrounded by a few small chairs on wheels for close viewing and behind the chairs is a row of benches up against the wall. I politely tipped her a dollar and took a seat on one of the benches. She was white, blonde, thin, small breasts, average height, not really my type. I believe she said she's from the Czech Republic. She asked if I wanted a dance and told me what I had already guessed: that she was the only girl on the shift. Not wanting to offend her by asking when the other girls arrive, I invited her to come and sit with me to talk business; she came down off the stage immediately because I was the only customer there, too. She gave me the usual stripper interview ("You ever been here before? ..." etc). Since she was the only game in town and I wasn't in the mood to drive to another club, I decided to take her for a spin in the back. The lap dance room is separated from the rest of the club by those annoying strings of beads that remind me of the '70s. She was topless during the dance and she allowed a fair amount of hand roaming on my part but nothing too crazy. We did a total of 3 or 4 dances, and during the second dance she told me how much she costs. I believe she said a $120 tip would get me a handshake and $200 would require protection (I specifically asked about that). I can't honestly remember what the cost of the VIP itself was, although prices were posted on the wall. Either way, the all-in cost of the VIP plus the tip was too much for me and I declined (although I did get the impression that her prices are somewhat negotiable). Had she been more my type I might have been tempted. Anyway, after my final dance ended I paid her and left. There are no other clubs in the Asbury/Neptune area but if you're willing to drive to South Jersey or Pennsylvania I think the options get better. Others may have better luck and more fun at Centerfolds when they have a full shift working. YMMV
