Well that's never happened before

I've tried a number of clubs in Las Vegas and wanted to go to a new one, so figured I'd give Showgirls a go. The evening was a little rocky to start. They have a free ride if you call, but apparently this place is owned and at least partially run by the same folks that run Little Darlings. When I called and said I wanted the ride to "Deja Vu" they asked "which one". I didn't realize the shared management or that "Little Darlings" was a Deja Vu property, so this was a little confusing. My bad, I guess, but there's no obvious mention of this on their web sites. For future reference, calling the place "Showgirls" seems to work better than "Deja Vu". The limo ride was also delayed for some reason and showed up later than expected.

In the end, I got to the club without really all that much hassle and there was no cover charge. It was pretty quiet, as I suppose could be expected for fairly early on a Wednesday. Inside, the club felt a little dated. There were bright red couches along the edges of the room with tables and chairs in the middle all facing the modest stage. A bar sits across the room from the stage. It wasn't run down, but just felt a little old and maybe a little tired. The service was decent. The drink prices were reasonable, particularly for a club in Vegas.

The dancers were a bit of a mixed bag. There weren't that many of them, and I'd say the overall level of attractiveness was a bit lower than at other clubs. The dancers were maybe a little older, or a little less fit. There were a number of big obvious implants. The stage show was pretty mediocre. The stage was well positioned to be visible from a lot of seats, but the dancers weren't much into it. I can't say if this is better on a busier night or not, of course.
