Boys' Weekend in Vegas

Our group hit up Palomino Sunday (after midnight) of MLK weekend, after the previous night at Sapphire that saw some of the last of us leave at 6AM (take a look at my last review). For our last night in Vegas, we were debating between Spearmint and Palomino. Ultimately, the scaled tipped us towards Palomino after seeing some promising reviews over at toplessvegasonline.com and here at tuscl.

As others have mentioned, the value at Palomino is great. We got a free limo, free cover, with no drink requirements. Once we got in, drinks were reasonably priced and seating was easy to find. Most girls this night were Latin, probably 70-80% of the 25-30 girls, some who had a real difficulty communicating in English. Of course, it's a strip club, so minimal communication is necessary to get the titties-for-cash transaction going. Or in Palomino's case, the whole schbang on stage or upstairs in the VIP.

Now with that out of the way, I hate to be the naysayer, but here goes: being from the Detroit area I've been spoiled by the SC scene and having been to Vegas now over a dozen times, I'm not sure that for an out-of-towner Palomino is worth it. Yes, the price point is great (more or less Detroit level), but the tradeoff versus quality was no there relative to Sapphire or Spearmint, which are world-class. Again, this may be different for a local where the Palomino's value proposition makes more sense. I'm usually in Vegas for a weekend, so I want that uniquely Vegas SC experience, and Palomino just wasn't it. Maybe we were there on an off-night, but unless I'm in Vegas for a longer stretch, a repeat visit to Palomino is is unlikely for the foreseeable future.
