this is the polar opposite of Splendors

I may have found a favorite club. After visiting Splendors earlier in the week and feeling like I needed a bath afterwards because it was just that grimy, I stopped by Cover Girls. I think that it burned down and was rebuilt a year or two ago -- two dancers I asked argued about when. Bottom line, the whole place looks, smells, and feels new. Now, it appears to be a ghost town, with no customers or dancers, but that may have been Saturday at that particular club in the afternoon. There was a very nice manager, a bartender, a busboy, the DJ, one dancer and me. And this building is huge, probably 4500 square feet just in the downstairs. They also have downstairs private rooms, also huge, on both sides, plus two gigantic VIP areas upstairs. I know because the dancer gave me a tour. And it was almost completely empty. I kept wondering about the AC bill. In any event, the sole dancer was very nice, average weight, height, etc. But she did focus on excellent hands on dances, there was no "three for $100" hustle, and I was pleased. After my Splendors experience I really, really liked that it was clean. They also have some downstairs VIP specials that would make good sense on a weekday. But, despite the fact that the place was empty, I couldn't get a deal.

I don't known what the club looks like midweek. I will check it out and report back.
