What a waste of time

I've reviewed this place a couple times already, but my last trip here definitely deserved another review. I went on a Saturday evening thinking things would be a little more lively....boy was I wrong. When I rated the dancer quality as a 4, I was being generous.

For starters, there were only three other patrons in the place. Even worse, there were only 5 dancers working. I don't know if there's new management, or if management did a "shake up" of how they operate, but from what I overheard, if a dancer doesn't work during the week, they're not permitted to work on the weekend. Seeing as they're closed on Sundays, I don't know if "weekend" implies Fri/Sat or just Sat. But nonetheless, the quality of dancers was poor. Another thing I overheard was a change in how the dancers can interact with the customers while on stage. In the past I've seen the dancers get pretty up close and personal with the customers sitting along the perimeter of the stage. But the bartender, who I've never seen before, was commenting on how the dancer wasn't supposed to be doing it anymore. Something along the lines of if a liquor board inspector showed up and saw that, it would be frowned upon. Don't know how that would happen considering you have to ring a doorbell before coming in.

Another change I noticed was the price list for dances and, apparently, 15 & 30 minute massages. Looks like management up'ed the price a few bucks. Nothing outrageous. But I'd be curious as to why.

I was only there for about an hour. Drank 2.5 beers and rolled out. A very disappointing trip this time around. I actually decided to see what JB's up the street had going on, and, without writing another review, I'll just say it wasn't any better. Things seem to be going downhill in good ol' Clarksburg, WV.
