It's Bike Week 2006, and I...
It's Bike Week 2006, and I stopped here on the first Saturday night. There was a good crowd, but nothing like during Speed Week or, most likely, it will be on the last weekend of Bike Week.
It's still a $20 cover charge. A half-sized rum & coke still costs $6.50 + tip. The dances are still $20 each, plus a $10 wrist strap fee to get in the private area. Oh, yes - the DJ still CUTS SHORT ALL THE SONGS! I timed them between 1.5 - 2 minutes each. What a freaking RIP-OFF!
I talked to a couple of the girls about it when they approached me for a dance. Yes, I know it's not their fault. They tell me that it's done to keep the crowd moving, or else it'll take forever to get into the lap dance area. Well, there wasn't a waiting line to get in during the time I was there. It's been busy at other times in the past, but why do they rip us off when the crowd isn't waiting?
