Every Dog of a Club has its Day

This is the kind of club I really wanted to hate. I got dinged for $10 by the valet after parking my own car. Then was hit with a $5 charge on the way inside. The lady at the door was cool, though, and told me where to park if I didn't want to pay the valet. It was a rental, so I'll park those just about anywhere. Then I walk around the hallway to the right and see the club itself. It is in rough, rough shape. I've been to worse, though. A lot worse. So I drift around between a couple of tables, trying to convince myself to sit down. The tables are little bistro tables with cafeteria style chairs around them. There was a gal on the only stage, and the situation was going downhill fast.

I turned around the leave and spotted a gal in a bikini who was young, cute, and cutting up in the corner dancing to amuse herself. I waited to see if she was going to stop screwing around, and finally one of the managers waved me over and a waitress dragged her out from behind the bar. She gave me an impromptu grind while standing that was hard enough to make me take a step back, then she pressed me up on a wall and grinded her goods while facing me. The onlookers got a good show, and I got a better one for $1. That was enough for me to sit down and be ok with buying her a drink. The drink cost more than the $10 lap dance I got a few minutes later, so that wouldn't happen again.

When I was on my way out, another dancer who really should be at a better club approached me and I took a shot at a $10 dance. That turned into two more dances in the VIP. It is rare that a straight up dance will get my attention these days, but this dancer brought the goods. Lean black dancer with a short hairdo and ridiculous curves. As crappy as this club looks, if I was in town again I'd consider another try. The staff was cool, there are some diamonds in the rough among the dancers, and I could see that the regulars seemed to be enjoying themselves if they were in groups. Wouldn't see this as a place to spend much time in while flying solo as an out of towner. If you happen to drop by, park by the gas station up a few businesses and walk back down. The $10 dances are pretty decent here, but equally decent in better clubs around town.
