Pandora evening

Dropped by Pandora's again on a cold night. Parking lot had iced up from the recent storms we've been having. I was surprised that the lot was nearly full. Pay your $10 plus $10 unlimited soft drink to get in and a hostess sat me down to the right side of the stage back by where the "casual conversation" tables were. My eyes were barely adjusted to the dark and I was suddenly pounced on by dancer after dancer. Finally they left me alone long enough to get my bearings. There are two stages here and one dancer starts on one then goes to the "main" stage. It was a rowdy crowd hooting and hollering, and the stage was raining dollar bills. The place was jumping with activity you could hear all the way to the parking lot. Carmelita (is that how you spell it?) came up to me asking me for a dance. I just wasn't ready. I got up to hit the bathroom, covered my drink to hold my spot. The bathroom is awful - I mean worse than a bad gas station. They should just hose it down once in a while, it would be a huge improvement.

Upon return this skinny blonde girl came up to me and said "I've been doing this for 13 years I know just what to do with you". Uh.. ok, but not right now. Then a very attractive latina with long brown hair came up to me, tossed her hair to one side and in broken English said "lets go for a private dance" . So....ok. tell me about this I said " She said $40 for a private dance" I said ok fine and we went back to the couches in the back by the bathroom. Once we got there I realized she was either totally drugged out or she was stinking drunk. In either case she just stood there not moving, and then started upselling me like I was a tourist in Tijuana or something. I'm not into "extras" I just wanted a nice dance from her. So she proceeded to slam herself onto me to the point where I was hoping the song would end early and I could leave. I asked her where she was from and she said "Mexico City". I've been to Mexico several times, but I'm not sure how realistic her answer was. Her Spanish was good though. When it was over she said " Arent you going to tip me?" I looked at her and just smiled and got up to leave. Even before I could answer her she took off in a flash, seeking another customer. Before I could walk out to the main floor she was already coming back with another PL. She said "Adios Papi" to me as she passed. I shrugged and thought "No kidding.....". So I sat down, had another coke, enjoyed the stage show and eventually left about 20 min later.

Pandoras can be hit and miss I think. The dancers were all very pushy this night and I don't like that at all - it's a total turnoff. Hopefully this is a one time thing - I think it will be quite awhile before I go back to this place again. Just good expectations turned into a real bad vibe.
