Declining club and declining value
I have visited this club periodically since summer, and over the holidays it has been quite dead in terms of customers. I'm not sure if it's just the season, or if the club is in decline overall. It feels to me like things are going wrong at the club.
There are still a good number of girls working when you go, in fact they tend to outnumber the customers so you get a lot of girls standing around looking bored, sitting at the bar playing with their phones, etc. When customers do come in, sometimes they are approached and sometimes the girls pretty much ignore them. I think these may be regulars who are known not to buy dances--some guys seem to treat this more as a sports bar to watch the TVs than a club to spend money on the girls. The girls remain friendly when they know you are spending money, and I've met some nice gals there who are fun to talk to.
There are other signs that the club is losing money. Dancer turnover is high with very few long-term regulars. The club repeatedly posts to social media offering free admission, money off bottle service and suites, and so on. I heard that some of the girls filed suit against the club regarding unemployment benefits, so they may be impacting their bottom line. I hope this club finds a way to survive because it's the only place in Syracuse that's even approaching high-end. I just don't think the people in the area have the money to spend, as prices remain high.
