I was driving back to Vancouver...

I was driving back to Vancouver (BC) from Portland and thought I'd make a side trip to that Seattle strip club I'd read so much about all these years to see what all the fuss was about, maybe kill a few hours to avoid rush hour. Around 3 on Friday afternoon and the parking lot looked a little less than half full. I thought the place would be bigger. Paid my $10 cover and got my $5 ice water then went to get a seat by the stage, a small wad of singles in my shirt pocket. Whoops, that don't work -- the first row of seats are a good 4 feet from the stages, and I have to admit that plus all the talk of new laws had me worried. Dancers were in the 8-10 range, with a couple of exceptions and they did one song on each stage for their rotation. I saw several dancers that I wanted to get dances from on stage, but most of them were coming out of & returning straight to the VIP area. After about half an hour Amanda, a fabulous looking Chinese girl, came by to say hello. She thought she recognized me and I had to break the news to her that she hadn't danced for me before, so we decided to remedy that. A couple hun of $30 dances later and I was finished (I was glad to see there's no blacklight at Rick's). I had planned on spreading that money around a bit over a longer time, but Amanda took it all and I was back on the road by 4. Only bad thing about this visit was getting caught back on the I-5 during rush hour, and I'm already trying to figure out when I can get down to Seattle again.
