Went to Flashdancers for the first...

Went to Flashdancers for the first time, with a friend. It's downstairs in a basement, but decor is not bad. It's decently sized. Has a bar with small tables and chairs arranged between the bar and the dancing stage. You can sit a little away from the stage and have some nice views of the ladies, or sit right next to the stage and tip the dancers as they perform. As you're sitting and watching, you'll get a few girls walking up to you and asking for dances, but not too aggressive. I'm not sure if there is a VIP room, but the regular private dance area is off to the side, on a long bench/couch. There were a good number of dancers on shift, mostly the tall thin type, mostly pretty good looking, though I prefer a little more curvy. Most of the dancers were white, some hispanic, a few black. The environment of the place I would say is mid-scale. The dances themselves are average for a manhattan mid-scale club...decent grind and contact depending on the girl (I had dances from two different girls), but not the kind of extra contact you can get at dive strip clubs. The girls are friendly and nice to talk to. Overall, not a bad place to go and chill out.
