good holiday outing

I stopped by Oasis just a few days before the New Year. It was a good time to go to be with the girls -- the Christmas anxiety was over but the hustle was still kind of on. I wanted a good hands-on experience, and that's what I got. I purchased dances from six girls -- mixed nationalities, including a couple with really thick accents (and one that barely spoke English at all). I only once forgot to ask the girls to help me out with the dance count -- and, unfortunately, that one time I think I got a high count. No repeat dancing for that chick and she knew it. The others I cycled through until it was time to get off and then call it a day. Overall a good visit for a weekday afternoon at Oasis -- which can often be a miss during those times. I'm happy I went during the holiday.
