Not Much Happening

I am a gringo and do not understand this club. Enjoyed Feliz Navidad for the 4th year in a row in Cabo. Also paid two visits to Cabaret. As an old white man I arrive early about 7 PM. Finding a dancer that speaks English is difficult. Like previous visits, Google Translate did help me communicate. Cabaret is a large club with multiple stages. There were only 4 or 5 dancers when I arrived. A cute dancer with blondish hair seemed to be part bartender/part dancer. We had a private dance (5 minutes in a small dark curtained room for $20). It was fine but no real connection. After seeing Flor dance sexily on stage I wanted to get to know her better. We had a private session that was good. I spent the remainder of my time with her. She was kissing my during our session, a rarity in the US. Using my smartphone we went back and forth and laughed and got to know each other. Without any prompting from me she wanted to give me her phone number and get together outside the club. I have done that with some success. She input her phone number and urged me to call/text and made plans for a breakfast date. Later she revealed she had a cold. I currently have that nasty Mexican cold.

After parting on excellent terms I texted her from my room. No response. Next morning tried again. Nothing. Called the number, "out of service." WTF? She initiated the plan. Why would she do that? I probably would've spent more on a one-off. And once the prospect of paying more for our outside date arose, I quit spending. I was suckered but lost no money, she gained nothing.

After Christmas same routine. Flor was not there. Again I was the only customer for maybe 4 dancers. Enjoyed Abigail's company repeatedly. She suggested getting together then also gave me a non-working number. It doesn't make sense. I never asked for either dancer's number. Would have had fun with either in my hotel room. Why the fake number? The dancers cannot be trusted.
