Overall good experience with a couple complaints

I finally found myself in the area, so I decided to stop in at the Electric Blue for the first time. I liked the club layout; there's a traditional bar when you walk in, and a dance area in the back. It's large enough that several girls can be dancing at the same time. There was a variety of seating, including chairs by the dance area and some comfortable couches in the back. The decor and lighting was very nice and probably the best I've seen in a CT strip club. In fact, I was very impressed by the club... until I went to the bathroom and discovered that none of the stalls have doors. Seriously? I walked in and immediately to my right was a guy taking a dump in full view of anyone who walked into the bathroom. I had to dock the club some stars for this, lol. If you're going to have stalls without doors, at least have the good sense to put them in the back! I don't want to have to watch a guy wiping his butt just so I can get to the urinals.

As for the dancers -- they started out as fairly average early in the late afternoon and progressed to above-average in the evening. Even so, none of them inspired me to do a lap dance. Which is actually a good thing, because I had no cash on hand and soon found out that there is no ATM on premises. Apparently the bartender can make a withdrawal from your card for a massive $20 fee, which I would never pay even if my life depended on it. In any event, I found that the dancers did try to drum up LD business but they weren't pushy. It really turns me off when a dancer can't take no for an answer. I'm pleased to say that none of them tried to hustle me, which was refreshing.

The bartenders were friendly and even the bouncer was a cool guy. The lack of a required credit card minimum for drinks was another plus in my book. Definitely a good staff here, and this is probably one of the high points of the club and something you rarely see in clubs in my opinion.
