Uncertain times

Ok, first thing to say that I didn't visit in prime time. It was early evening, I was one of three chaps there, and there was one girl. This is not a review of the club in full swing by any stretch of the imagination. Yet, allowing for all of this, I was deeply disappointed.

The girl, whose name has slipped my mind, cannot have been one of this world's great beauties even at her peak, which had passed some time ago. She was pleasent enough, but there was nothing about her to excite. Ah well, what does one expect at 6pm in mid week? It was not this, however, that was the greatest disappointment.

The club has changed. Where once you were greeted with a selection of well concealed (if somewhat garish) seats to relax in and get to know the girls, it is now largely standing room only. The atmosphere of chilled intimacy it once had has gone, with the distinct feel that in busy times you will be rushed through a selection of dances and spat out the other end. I hope I am wrong and doing it a disservice, but I suspect not. It's been a long time since my last visit here. It will be even longer until my next.
