Downhill

I had just had a boring experience at the nearby Jet Strip and not satiated at all, I figured I'd come over to BE, the old stand-by. I say stand-by because I just don't like the dance pricing what with their $51 for one dance base price. Thing is with many cute girls walking around topless and nude and some effort in the stage shows, it can be a fine diversion for a little while. This time, before I went, I downloaded to my phone the entry coupon from their ad here on good 'ol TUSCL. Still had to pay the $5 valet fee for the car but when I held my phone with the coupon up to the glass of the DJ/Doorman booth he let me right in. Going on an off night, the entry was free. Thanks TUSCL! Which of course made it all worth it as I would have been sorely disappointed if I had to pay the cover charge.

It started off hopeful enough, I walked through the curtain and their seemed to be girls everywhere, some were with PLs, others were just hanging around. I had a brief bit of chat with a girl who said she travels the world but then didn't seem to have any stories from it. She got to the dance question and I declined. I have to say at this point that I had a bad cold at the time and, one didn't want to inflict it on others and two, felt I was just a bit too groggy from all the cold medicine to enjoy a LD. The atmosphere, the girls walking around and the stage shows would have to do... until it started thinning out. I parked myself at the rail to spend my evening tipping at the stage and noticed there seemed less and less girls. I got there at the shift change. There were still a few girls working, some disappeared for awhile into the VIP rooms with PLs (many old guys like me). Stage show ended up having a rotation of the same 4 girls or so with big breaks in between. I did have one more short chat session with a girl at the rail after she had finished dancing (she could sit with me because there was no one on the stage). Nice thing, the dance question came up early and I said No again (just too young for me even if I didn't have a cold) but she still stayed a bit to continue talking.

Not a glowing review but BE still has to remain my "go-to" for the LAX area when I'm there and staying nearby. The free or discounted entry coupon from TUSCL takes a bite out of the cost of going and I'd say I'm more likely than not to go back if they still honor it. However, any suggestions from the SoCal hounds for other clubs easy distance from the airport are always welcome.
