Silicon City
I was in Dallas for work, so a co-worker and I decided to check out a few clubs. The Lodge was the first stop. Parking was well lit and safe. We entered and cover was $10 each. Entering the club was a jaw dropper for a first-timer. The club's motif was just as described, a nice hunting lodge decor, complete with wood-paneled walls, huge stone fireplace, and animal heads on the walls. Definitely a more upscale clientele. The first/main room had two stages going, one smaller one with a pole and the main stage. The main stage did not have a pole, so the girls just danced there. The backdrop for it was a huge rock formation, complete with running water. The dancer emerges from a cave within. Imagine being at a Rainforest Cafe, only with strippers.
We took a seat and enjoyed the show on the main stage. We were promptly greeted by our waitress. My mixed drink was $12, about 40-50% more than at other typical places. Most of the dancers were very attractive, but all but one had obviously added aftermarket fun bags. Quite a few guys are into the big, fake titties look but I'm not one. As it was, we sat for about an hour and never got approached once, so I can't even say what the backroom rates were. We weren't feeling the vibe or the girls, so decided to move on elsewhere (Baby Dolls).
All in all, seemed like a very nice place but really wasn't into the girls and it just didn't feel like any strip club I'd ever been too previously. Just a strange vibe. I'm glad I went, but doubt that I'd ever return.
