Better bar than stripclub
Even with the infusion of dancers from the defunct vixens and taboo, lust's atmosphere falls short for the money. I've visted the place multiple times now on different days and feel I can give a very accurate review.
Lust does have a number of attractive dancers but the attitudes of most will take the panache out of patrons. Even on moderately volume nights I have witnessed a number of dancers sitting off as a group by themselves texting "regulars" or boyfriends instead of genuinely being social around the bar, very reminiscent of a hooters or tilted kilt with bad service.
I attribute this to the points scheme I've overheard from dancers which focuses of course on dances instead of hospitality and using that friendliness to attract new curious customers into shorter dances at higher volumes. Instead, the system favors longer dances creating an atmosphere of hyper judgemental dancers, gossip, and a lot of guys sitting at the bar , not at the stage. Dancers who manage to land highpaying regulars are awarded more weekend shifts than dancers who don't . This creates an environment where most of the dancers hover around a few people or sitting by themselves hoping one of the other ladies messes up with their "whale" . They may nonchalantly test a few groups of guys but most I have noticed end up a significant amount of times sitting alone or with other dancers, not being approachable.
