Not Bad at All

I was driving through Durham for business, felt the itch, so I looked up a good spot to visit. Hello Teasers.

Interesting local being just off of downtown. Part of me says it would have been hard to find without a GPS, but if you have the right street you can't miss it. Good parking right outside the door, though I have a feeling the construction in the parking lot next to it makes this place fill up on a busy night. I arrived just around 8PM, or an hour after they opened, so things were still relatively quiet and just getting started. The place was pretty empty, with just myself and a couple of business types taking up a table. $8 cover to get in, and the drinks were generally reasonably priced - a mixed rail drink was about $6 or $7.

The set-up is a little quirky. The main room is in a basement like place. Well decorated, and an upscale feel to the decor. But being in a basement means a low ceiling, and that did two things: 1) There is no true stage. There is a stage area where the girls dance, but it's not elevated - its basically a place with regular flooring (not carpet like the rest), a pole, and velvet ropes. Tipping the girls ends up to be like standing by their side and giving it to them. 2) In the 7" stripper heals, those girls seem to be about to bump their heads. Makes a short guy like me feel really short.
