Busy for a Thursday afternoon

I hadn't been to my formerly favorite club in quite awhile and had called a dancer to make sure she was working before going. With her assurance that she'd be there I arrived about 2:00 and upon entering I needed a couple of minutes for my eyes to adjust to the darkened room. That's when I saw my friend just finishing her stage set, but she didn't see me. As she left the stage I noticed a well dressed middle aged gentleman going into the lap dance area unaccompanied and sure enough she was waiting for him. I could see them talking as the next dancer collected my tip and then, of course they headed for VIP. I "accidentally" intercepted them, got a hug and a statement that we're going to be at least an hour. Can you wait? Not this time. Hope to see you soon. I can't fault her by any means in that she's there to make money and I suspect she was with the guy who had the deepest pockets there.

There were about 10 to 12 customers there when I arrived and about 15 or so when I left an hour later. The dancers were quite average. The vibe was mellow as is usually the case afternoons. It looked like new carpeting on the floor and the mahogany wall paneling had recently been spruced up and the chandeliers sparkled. It really is a nice club in which to relax, have a drink and watch nude women.
