Chi-town isn't known as a great club town. Most seem to prefer heading to Indiana, which isn't that far away, because they are a more hands on experience. That isn't to say you can't get a good dance in Chicago, it is just harder to come by. I've been to PM before and it is an interesting mix of sticker shock and a good deal. Being prepared for the BYOB, I brought my own sealed bottle of vodka. If you don't remember to bring your own it is either tough luck or head next door. For a three times the cost you can get your bottle at the bar and bring it over. If you remembered your own, that cost savings will make the rest of the night much better. The private dances are expensive but if you didn't drop 100 bucks on a bottle like you would at a club somewhere else, the price ends up evening out. The payoff is the quality of girls can be very high at PM. In this case, there was half a dozen solid 7 and 8 talent and nothing below a 6. A couple girls would even rank higher depending on your tastes. There was a thin but well built/perky brunette with a Russian or eastern block accent working who gave a great private dance. The blonde I took back first was striking but after 15 minutes, I was glad I hadn't paid for the 30 minutes. The brunette was the exact opposite experience. She had selected a better booth so people were constantly walking past us during our time and while I know we were monitored, she was much more into the dance. Well worth the money particularly considering the money saved on booze. It still isn't a cheap club nor is it an aggressive club... but for higher end feel with the bonus of BYOB, PM is worth a visit. Just remember you pay more for a dance for the luxury of BYOB.
