Long time between visits.

I've not been to Stir or really any other club in a long time. A couple of personal problems have kept me away. This visit was for more than just a club visit. I went to meet up with a long time TUSCL friend, vincemichaels. We'd clubbed together a few time in the past when he was down this way.

Now for the visit. On arrival the club was as it has pretty much always been, on the plus side of average. Most any review below will cover the details and club layout, so I'll not waste time here. Once I found vm, easy as there were few customers, I sat with him and said out hellos. The barmaid was an old friend of mine, so I ordered a beer from her (didn't seem to be table service, but vm said he was served once). I never was. Talked to her a bit then returned to the table. A dancer vm already knew from this visit came by for the tip walk. One sat by me. Neither was one I would be interested in, just not my type. I checked the restroom and NO troll! A real positive, although the one that had been there in the past wasn't bad. On my return, vm had been abducted to the LD room. Not wanting to sit alone at a table I opted for the bar a spoke some more with my friend behind the bar.

The overall quality of dancers was down from my numerous previous visits. All had also been during the afternoon. I don't know if this is the new "normal" or not. I hope not. The oh so common tip walk was, of course, present. The only good thing about a tip walk, in my opinion, is that I can tip a dancer I am interested in a five and that they will remember and return.
