There is no strip club that I have to travel further from my front door to reach than Runway. 28 miles. It says a lot that on a couple of occasions, I have done that. It might also say a lot, that this first time that I made that drive, only to arrive at the front door and be told there is a $6 cover, I turned around and went elsewhere.

If I were to make a list of guilty pleasure strip clubs, Runway would be in my Top 5. It's clean, it's spacious, it is reasonably priced, the dancers are consistent, albeit, slightly overweight, average stage skills and a little too much make-up and cliche stripper for my tastes. I like the airplane propeller ceiling fans that keep with the runway/airport motif. The food is on par for a strip club.

I have just come to the conclusion that driving all the way out to Hellsboro to pay $6 for something I can enjoy ten times more practically outside my front door just doesn't make sense. That said, if for whatever reason, I am ever out in that area for some other reason, I'd not hesitate to stop in for a cocktail or two.
