Some hope for South Texas

This was a visit right after my trip to Whispers in Harlingen. I ended that review saying I was not satisfied there. Being in this unsatisfied state, I decided I needed to check out this club which was another 30min away. Thankfully, GPS got me close enough to find it. This review covers two nights (And thrilled to say it should be my 90th club review!).

First visit I got in close to closing Thursday/Friday night. Still cost me a $10 cover, metal detector pass through and a free grope and squeeze by a security guard (you know, clubs should at least train a girl to do this, make it a bit more enjoyable). You enter in behind the DJ booth so have to turn to the left to get in the club. Center stage with two poles right in the middle. Bar up a few steps to the left, far right on the other end of the club is a separate private dance area. Typical rolling chairs and scattered tables you see variations of in every club all about. Some more pleasant surprises, $8 for my drink (and one for the girl I met). Second visit Friday night I opened a tab since I got there earlier and me and my girl drank quite a bit more and still the tab was under $70.

Place is a bit beat up and dark though. Blacklights are everywhere (just hate how it makes people look. Teeth, whites of eyes and fingernails glow as well as every bit of lint on a black shirt). After awhile it also can seem like there is a haze to look through - but I digress. Stage was better lit at times though I did note on the second night that the DJ did tend to turn the lights real low for let's say the less suitable girls. All in all though I was happy with the level of dancers, nothing above say an 8, solid 7s, few below. Most seemed to speak English if sometimes accented. Some good attempts at the pole and how I do enjoy the show. Seemed the tipping at the stage involved allot of grope and titty face by the dancer for the tipper. I thought it looked a bit ridiculous and simply threw my tips on the stage with a smile and walked away. Second night also seemed to find a few women customers in the club. They were nicely groped when they tipped at the stage for a bonus show for the rest of us.
