Nice venue

Mpire is a pretty nice club. It used to be a pretty dumpy club, but They completed renovations within the last couple years. The venue is well designed. The downstairs bar is very intimate. Probably can only fit a dozen customers. The upstairs bar is a bit larger, but still only seats like 24 customers. There is a third floor, but I've never been up there. Seems like it's reserved for serious high rollers.

You can tell that it was an expensive build out. But you end up paying for that quality. Budwisers go for $13. You have to order bottles of you sit at an upstairs table. That gets pretty expensive, obviously.

It's downtown DC, so there are very limited menu options. No lap dances, no touching. Strictly a look but don't touch venue. But that's generally the rules in DC.
