I stopped in this club just...

I stopped in this club just after it opened yesterday (5:15PM on 3/23). Looking around, I liked the layout. A big stage in the center of a cavernous room - high ceilings...actually pretty cool; had more of a strip club appearance than a neighborhood bar appearance that Hip Hugger portrays (see my review of HH on this day).

One word to describe the atmosphere... Dead! I was the first guy there, so I thought I'd get a lot of attention. There was no one dancing. Being that the place just opened, I decided to fight my urge to turn around and leave and instead gave it a chance. There were four dancers sitting next to the stage when I walked in. Of the four, there were two that caught my eye. My list of two soon dwindled to one, when one of them smiled and I noticed she was missing a front tooth. One girl said "hi", but none of them made a move to talk to me.

After getting a beer ($2.75), I picked a table (tough choice since they were ALL empty). After about 10 minutes of sitting in silence, drinking my beer, wondering why the girls weren't fighting each other for my company, the music finally started and a dancer took to the stage. She wasn't too bad... not my type, but probably a 7. I sat through the entire rotation of dancers. There were six of them by the end of the rotation, ranging from 5-8. The "8" was a pretty good looking blonde, with long silky hair (my weakness), but a lot of tatoos, and I noticed her hair was actually two-tone with the layer underneath being dark, which I didn't find attractive.
