Tootsie's

Was in north Fort Lauderdale for business and decided to drive down to Miami Gardens to check out Tootsie’s for a quick daytime visit. As usual, traffic sucked, so it took almost 45 minutes to get there. Despite the pain in the ass traffic, I’m glad I made the trip. I got there about 4:30 and pulled into the huge free parking lot. Walking up to the giant covered front entrance, it feels like you are walking into a big movie theater. There was no cover at that time of day.

Inside, the place is huge. Easily the biggest strip club I have ever seen or will likely see in the future. It’s broken up into a lot of different areas. The main club area is just inside with a large stage, seating area and bar. This area alone is bigger than most clubs. Further back there is an elevated seating area, and again, that area alone is bigger than most clubs. Along the left wall are couches with signs saying “no lap dances in this area.” Along the right wall are small, roped off VIP rooms with no doors or curtains, just open to the club. None were in use during my short visit.

Continuing toward the back is another big room, I think it was a restaurant, but no one was in there when I looked inside. Yes, once again, that room was bigger than most clubs I have seen. There is a second story mezzanine with glass windows overlooking the main club area. I was told this was the VIP area. I didn’t go up even though I was told there was no cover until 8:00.
