MBOT. The place is one of the few that lives up to its reputation. Was definitely worth the stop in. The main stage area is straight Hollywood. Has the look and the girls you imagine as a kid before you grow up and realize 99.9% of all clubs are filth-ridden dives. They rotate the side shows so it takes a little while to see the different sets, and this place has enough walking ATMs where you can get by just taking in the sights with low hustle. Didn't spend much more than the $40 on the cover. I did think the girl-girl shows were a little too stagey and rehearsed, but that's really minor. One guy said the place was way below par from a few years ago, but for first pass through it seemed fine compared with other spots around the country. When you've made your mind up on a girl, let her know and don't forget to negotiate unless you've got money to burn. The rates change just by hanging out and waiting for them to come back around, but performers with the best reps will not walk up unless they know you. Crosscheck with other info sources before you show up. The Friday night I was there, was tempted to try out the hottest gal in the place. Slender hottie with great stage presence and old school shimmy. Long brown hair and supermodel looks. Why take a pass? Just one opinion, but she could use a little trim where it counts. One of the SF regulars I was trading road stories with couldn't figure it out, either, but said the total package outweighed the shag. He was probably right. In any case, I like this place.
