Back to the basics...

Soo...as a frequent business traveler in the Central Midwest Cedar Rapids is one of my regular stops. On perhaps four different trips I have been to the Lumberyard and Woodys a but have been less than satisfied with my experience as being too much hustle and not enough of that certain personal experience I enjoy from a club. Maybe it's the vibe from the whole byob thing with those nude clubs or those open floor layouts. So, I hit up Dancers Ranch a four weeks ago to see if I could find my mojo here and I found it. This review is for the second time I stopped by which was last week.

Easy walk from my hotel at 7pm and there are quite a few others in close walking distance near 33rd Ave. It looks like a basic bar on the outside with a couple of benches for dancers and customers to smoke outside. Typically there are a few hanging out front. Walk in and $5 cover. Basic bar, Two stage layout with two poles per stage and at least one stage always occupied by a single dancer. Chairs are next to the stage and also some scattered basic tables and chairs. This club serves alcohol which means no exposed kitty on stage but the mixed drinks were very reasonable (like around $5 or $6). There is a backroom with counches and chairs for single dance and two private VIP rooms which are $100 for 15 minutes. Probably my favorite part of the club was no DJ, just a dance machine.

So I hung out at the bar and chatted it up with the bartender, the owner (Mark?) and the ladies. Maybe a dozen girls working and they ranged very wide in talent (mix of white and aa girls). Just two girls caught my eye that night to meet my standard. One was a tall brunette I met my first time at this club, a sexy young white girl with a great booty and a pretty smile (Phoenix) who quickly convinced me to do VIP. She was fun and very sexy. I also had a fun VIP with another fun young Latina that had excellent pole skills (Dallas?).
