Flew into SD arrive 10PM, uber to the boarder is about $25. No line at Mexican customs and I just in Libra cab and tell him Hong Kong. He's eating a taco while driving crazy and when we get there I realized I only had a $20, I asked for change and he looks at me like I've got 6 heads. He says "how much you usually pay". I said "Cinco dollares" he says "seven". This is the first time this has happened to me. I decided not to argue with him and said okay fine. Then he gives me 10 back - fucking rateros these Libra guys, I've heard this before about them. I'll always take the yellow cabs, or maybe an uber next time. Make my way into the club, hoping to find a chica from before. After a half hour I asked one of the maseros that I knew from a previous trip if she was working. He remembered me and her and another 20 minutes later he comes back with her tagging along. I generally find the maseros a pain in the ass but this guy - Juan (second floor) is good. Have a couple drinks with her speaking in broken Spanish and via Google Translator. Finally I say lets arriba, we have our fun upstairs and I'm at the boarder crossing 40 mins later. No line at 1:30, call another uber, alseep by 2:15 in my hotel. Fun and short trip overall, spent $60 on uber, $80 hotel, $80 chica, $17 Cascadas, 2 fichas $20, 2 drinks + cover for me $15. Some will say that spending that much for a mexican bar girl is too much money and too much hassle, however I'm single and typically don't have much to do on the weekend, so why not go have a little south of the boarder adventure. I've spent more than that in a night at the Hliter and received much less in return.
