Not what it was cracked up to be

Visited Penthouse on a Friday night recently when I came to Detroit. . The place was packed. Hard to even find a seat. I won't go into details about the physical layout since that's been described by others. It's definitely a nice club in terms of the interior. One thing that did put me off in terms of the environment is that an MMA fight came in tv and ALL the dancers stopped and everyone just sat and watched the stupid fight for an hour. Ridiculous. Fine to have the fight on tv but keep the sound down and the music playing and the dancers dancing. The quality of the girls was below what I was expecting. There were a couple 10s, a few 9s, and the rest were 7s or so. There were even two that I was shocked were dancers. Not attractive in the least. And I didn't find the girls to be too friendly. A grand total of one girl approached me and offered to take me upstairs for the full Monty for 700 bucks. Ha. Right. Hell, I will take a guy upstairs for $700. She kept lowering her price to the going rate but I was turned off by that point. If I ever get back to Detroit, I'd like to give it one more try, but on a weeknight perhaps. Pretty disappointing all around.
