The Porthole Thursday afternoon

I got here too early. Was only about 1pm and maybe 5 girls working, none were my style. Hung out till about 3pm and surprisingly for a Thursday there still wasn't much talent even by PH Pub standards. Hadn't been in some time and didn't recognize anyone except the bartender and non dance staff. Incidentally the bartender jumped on me right away when I entered about buying a drink. Usually she leaves you alone for 5 minutes or so, or perhaps just doesn't notice you. I've window shopped and left more than a few times here as the talent is hit and miss. Since it was still early I bought a beer despite the attitude she gave me when I told her I just walked in and wasn't ready yet. Hung out till 3pm as I said and left when the dancers were up to almost 10 and still no talent. Ah well, a few bucks for beer and time was all that I lost. Only had to brush a few girls off, for the most part they leave you alone if you don't make eye contact. Will try again soon, too many good times here to give up!
