Proof that Sugar Can be Good for You

Sugar's is a popular club in San Antonio. I get why it's popular. The dancers tend to be among the better looking in town, and give a good stage show and grind in the lap. I've been there a few times. Most recently on a Tuesday afternoon. Getting to the club is a little funky since it is located on what is called an access road. If you haven't been there before, check ahead on the route so you know which exit to hit. Parking on days is usually ok, but it can get packed on popular weekend days.

Once you're on the inside, the club is past the lobby and to the right. The main stage is going to be off to the right. It is a runway stage where guys can tip from any side, the area around it is kind of sunken down. That side of the club is good to take in the show and relax. Tables and chairs are arranged along the walls. The bar area is opposite the stage and wraps around the bartenders. Visibility to the main stage is still ok from there, but there is also a side stage at the end of it. There is also another area with tables and chairs. That's where I sit when I'm in the club if a table is free. Past the bar is the dance area that has another stage and bar, with additional seating that's a little cozier. On days the bar and stage aren't running so there's not as much going on in back other than dances. That's a good thing.
