Inner Room Fading
I decided to try Inner Room again this year. You can't really get an accurate picture on just one visit. This is the worst visit I can remember. Thankfully prices are still the same because based on current quality they are bordering on too high. Thug factor is off the charts. I kind of expected this since it was a late night visit. But as one of the dancers so eloquently reminded me, it was not always this bad. If we go back to 2004 this problem was nonexistent. The problem really began in 2009 and became progressively worse after felonious behavior caused a nearby hip hop club to close. This led to an influx of the make it rain crowd. The trouble is they don't even make it rain. Many of those making the trip over the bridge live in poverty stricken neighborhoods by Brevard County standards. Management did not do enough to discourage this and as such the club has declined massively. I wasn't really aware of any of the specifics but her reporting on the issue seems credible. Her Inner Room history lesson had just enough good points to break up her lame hustle. For those who live within 20 minutes, you don't have much to lose by checking it out every once in a while. I would advise against long distance trips because the club is very low quality at times. People will still travel from far and wide, but if I didn't need time to sober up I would have walked out right after I walked in.
