Obama Tuesday

If I give a straight up review, it's a place to avoid. In some towns this is the type of spot you end up in because there aren't other options to get the clubbing experience on the wild side some of you may be seeking. San Antonio is not one of those towns. This club is right off a busy road, but there isn't much around it. When you walk in, there is a little hallway with a ticket booth-looking window at the other end. There is a door girl who will usually be on duty to get the cover. The day I evening I was there, I walked in right behind a couple of girls who danced there (I think) but acted like they didn't speak English.

I was about just to crack open the door in the middle of the hallway to take a look in. That's when I heard a tiny voice from behind the window say something about a cover. It wasn't cheap. Just so you know, the club is basically a craphole. Kind of looks like a 70's throwback bar with strippers. There was at least one stage in the middle of the floor, but there was no one dancing. It's bigger than it looks on the outside, so it seemed especially empty. Unless you have a crew with you and alcohol this isn't a place you'll spend much time in, so I'll spare the details. You will pay your cover and immediately regret it. It's a BYOB place, so take plenty to drink and it'll get better once you've downed a few. I don't hate the place, but there are much better options for everything you could find here.
