Here we go again

Gold Club Pompano is in the same location as the previous Pink Pony / Crazy Horse. Being the first review for the club, I'll go a bit more into the physical layout and such for those who may care. Skip to the end for dances/dancers.

Its down at the end of a small street off Powerline road in a light industrial area. Its in the same general area as Cheetah, Booby Trap, between Booby Trap and Club Pink. It can be a bit hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for. There is plenty of self parking, and a large covered area above the entrance that I presume will house a Valet eventually. I didn't pay to park or enter, day or night. I get the impression this is temporary & they'll eventually start charging for both, I'm just not sure how much.

Inside, the facilities are nice & large. The main stage is a T shape with two levels. The top of the T has two poles and is a few feet higher than the bottom of the T, which again has two poles. On my visits, there's mostly been a single girl on stage with the only exception being a couple of stripper friends joining each other during the others turn in the rotation. There's another l shaped stage in the middle of the club that runs perpendicular to the T shaped one. Again, its got two poles. It's mostly been not in use during my visits, again with the exception of a girl jumping up there unofficially for a bit. Both stages have chairs around them for stageside viewing. There's two large bars, one that runs down the side wall and another near the second stage. For the most part, only the main bar has been in use on my visits so far. On the other side of the building, there's a row of VIP/Bottle Service/Reserved seating, and a couple area's scattered about reserved for the same. There's not so much reserved seating that it looks to pose a problem though, unlike for example Cheetah up the street that often seems to have 50% of the club empty/reserved while there is no standard seating available. The rest of the club has small table/chair setups on the floor.
