La Casona: Good news, bad news

The previous review actually enticed me to visit this place and I did so on a Wednesday afternoon. Here is the good news summary: It is VERY close to the border, which may be important for some of the folks who have reservations going into Mexico. After you go through the border (and are ignored by the Mexican border officer), look for the overhead sign pointing you to "Ave. Francisco I. Madero" and take those stairs. The club is 2 or 3 blocks away on that same side of the street.

They open at 3 pm and I got there just after opening time. I was told that yes, we already have girls available but more on that later.

The inside is pretty good size and the quality nothing to write home about (but who cares, we're there for one thing and one thing only). The club has quite a few TVs hanging off the walls and I was able to watch the USA-Australia basketball game live. The stage is pretty large, in the shape of a T and has three poles which the dancer rotates to. depending on whose attention she wants to get. There are obviously chairs placed around the stage and also small tables and a little elevated a set of booths which the maitre d' invited me to sit in.

Now the bad news: The girls just started showing up between the time I had walked in and around 4ish, I counted a total of four. Three of them had an ample bottom (not my cup of tea) and overall in the 4-5 range. The fourth one had a smoking body, tight, nice boobs, not overweight, but she never started dancing while I was there. She would have had me at "hola". I saw one of the three dancing, another one coming out topless and sitting in a corner busying herself with her cell phone and the third was running in and out of the dressing room as if she had forgotten something.

After her uninspiring dances (three total, she took her top off during the third), that dancer approached me and I told her right away that I was not interested. She did indicate to me that pretty much anything was on the table (which is expected in Mexico). Plus, with an exchange rate of 18.5 pesos to the dollar (on 8/10/16, posted on the club wall) you won't spend a lot of money there (compared to US clubs).
