Good time at Christie's Cabaret Tempe

I was on a recent trip, and ended up staying in Phoenix for about a 24 hour period. It was originally just supposed to be a layover, but with everything I had heard about Phoenix, I decided to book my trip to L.A. as two flights so I could make a full day of it in Phoenix. As I mentioned in another review, I visited the HiLiter club during the day, and Christie's Cabaret Tempe (having been warned to stay away from the Phoenix location), that evening.

After a solid stay at HiLiter I ubered on back to my hotel room to shower up, so as if not to cross contaminate, and then headed to Christie's, arriving around 9 PM or so. It was a Wednesday night, but truthfully it was slower than I had hoped. My best guess it somewhere around 15 dancers or so on the night.

Let me start by mentioning Wood. At least that's what I think he was saying his name was. Wood was, I suppose, the manager. More than a bouncer for sure. This guy was solid. Seriously, I had a great time at Christie's overall, but Wood was practically the highlight. I'm mostly joking, of course, the manager should never be the best part of a night that is filled with naked ladies, but he was incredibly on top of things from start to finish. Wood remembered my name all night, took me to a seat based on what my preferences were, after asking, introduced me to some dancers along the lines of what I was looking for, gave me coupons to return for free, had great stories to tell about his time working in Las Vegas and was just generally a pleasant guy. If you make it to Christie's, I hope you meet Wood ;)
