Pretty Standard Stuff in a Town with Many Options

There is nothing particularly wrong with Palace Mens Club. It just isn't my type of place. It is a little bright with the lighting, unusually bright for a strip club. There is one stage, and it's a really big stage (think high school play) for girls who don't move around much. There is a chaise style chair in the middle of it toward the back, and a couple of the girls I have seen up on stage will kind of hop around on it but there is not a lot of energy here. To be fair, I have not been to the place at night and only once when I would call it crowded. If I had one word to sum it up, it would be boring.

The DJ speaks too close to the mic I think and is a little hard to understand since the voice is distorted. Not sure if it's the sound system or the DJ, but I'm guessing since the songs are clear it's the DJ. There are two VIP areas off the main floor, one downstairs and one upstairs. The people in the lower level VIP looked as bored as I was, though I did see a custie walk one of the better looking dancers upstairs. With Men's club around the corner, was not that interested in paying to take a look around up in VIP since the dayshift is light on girls. Dancers range from attractive to very attractive. No dogs. A little more plastic than I prefer, but it's all to the good for entertainment. Drink prices are reasonable. Dancer drinks are same price as customer drinks.

A difference in more recent visits is the addition of dancer silouettes around the club on the walls. They kind of look like someone took trucker mudflaps and stuck them up around the club. Not offensive, but not that great looking and more than once dancer who dropped by mentioned them on my most recent visit. Dances are SA standard $20 per. Worth it with the right dancer, but nothing that jumps out as a must do. With three clubs within a mile of each other, if I only had time to drop by one I'd pick Men's Club or even Blush over the Palace.
