One or two diamonds in the rough

I was in town for work and my hotel was nearby, so I stopped by Leather and Lace on a Wednesday night. I'd never been by before so I didn't know what to expect. The building was a bit run down but it wasn't too sketchy, so I went on in. The first thing I noticed was that the club was tiny - I'm used to large, multi-level clubs, and this was about as far from that as possible. There was one stage and a handful of tables, as well as a bar. The lap dance area was just a slight raised area around a corner from the stage - not much privacy. Most of the girls were decidedly average, but a few were OK. I decided I'd have a beer then head out. I was quickly joined by a thin, cute black girl that was fun to talk with, so I settled in for a bit. When she got up to dance, I was approached by a blonde with a bit of a belly that seemed to have been drinking, who kept repeatedly telling to get a dance with some friend of hers. She was pretty rude and got pissed when I told her that I was waiting for the dancer on stage to come back. When she did come back, I got a 'private' dance, which was nice enough, but very low mileage. Overall, this would only be a club I'd visit if I was nearby and had no way to get to a better club around town.
